I’ve used the electric scooters through the apps like Bird, Spin, etc., and that was my only prior experience with electric scooters. I got this scooter to get around the neighborhood, and this product exceeded expectations. The scooter was packaged in a large box, and set up was a breeze. There is minimal assembly and instructions for assembly and set up are clear. I charged the scooter overnight with the included charger. The scooter folds up easily so you can put this in your car or store it with ease. The tires are large and sturdy and I got the scooter up to 15 miles per hour. This is such a good product for the money paid, and if I needed another scooter I would order another one of these!

Pros:
• Right off the box it’s easy to assemble
• Design and Quality is up there, sturdy in my opinion
• Easy to fold and store in my car trunk
• Battery life is as advertised, depends on rider
• Smooth ride thanks to the 10inch tires
• Bright lights for night ride to ensure your safety
• Braking is good, has regenerative braking
• Advanced features like locking and fault detection
Cons:
• App is buggy, sometimes it’ll connect sometimes it won’t
• Slow to get up to speed, doesn’t feel like a 350w motor
• Says it could go up to 19mph, but can’t seem to go past 15mph
Overall would recommend the A6L Eco, if you’re looking for something reliable or as a first scooter. MegaWheels also has excellent customer service and they’ve never let me down with my previous scooters. This is my 4th MegaWheels E-Scooter!

First off, I’m around 6’4″ so I was a little wary if I’d be able to use this. However, it’s just fine for me. I’m not bending over to ride it which is nice. The build quality feels pretty good. Very sturdy. The light is bright and the readout screen on the scooter is nice if you don’t want the app out all the time. Really if that was all there was to it, I’d give it 5/5.
However, here are the issues. Getting this up to speed, with my size and build (around 230), this thing didn’t appear to struggle but it definitely took awhile. In a 100-150ft flat test I managed to get it up to around 10-12mph but once it got close to 10mph the gains diminished. So others reporting this struggles to get up to max speed with different weights I believe are credible.
The gears, really there is only two gears. Low gear is slower than walking. Medium is alright for learning how to use it while high should be for when you are ready to hit the road.
Having to use the app to control some of it is a little burdensome. I’d much rather have more button controls on the scooter. Maybe even turning the bluetooth transmitter off since that is a power drain and BT really isn’t very secure. Hackable.
This scooter is definitely a street only scooter. I tested over rough ground and grass and while it will run, the tires and the motor just aren’t made for it. I did look into possibly changing out the tires with another tread but that doesn’t look so simply as the motor is built into the rear wheel. One plus side however, it looks user serviceable since the screws are simply phillps head. No special screws. Big thanks for that.
The brake is effective if not a little too effective so you’ll want to practice feathering it. The throttle is probably my last complaint about this scooter. I’d much rather have it vertical mounted than under the bar. I feel pushing up to go faster would be more natural but that’s just me. You do have to be able to get it up to 3mph on your own power before it lets you switch it on. Which is not a bad thing. To me it is more of a safety feature so you don’t do something stupid.
Overall, it’s nice and I’m glad to have the experience in testing it. Probably learned more about this doing that than anything else. Which will effect a future purchase of an e-bike/etc.
So it will benefit others, my deciding factors would come down to:
-Motor power (I’d want more in case I’d have to carry stuff)
-Ease of changing wheels/maintenance (Ability to easy change tires for traction)
-More on device control, less app/wireless centric
If you’re looking for a commuter for generally stable city streets and you aren’t a big person, I recommend this. I’m not sure on battery wear or motor longevity at this time because it’s so new. However, if something happens, I’ll report it. Also, get a good helmet for this. Especially if you plan to go city streets. Be smart, be safe.

I love this scooter. It is SO MUCH FUN! It controls smoothly, gets up to speed with ease, and is worth every penny.
This is actually my second scooter, as my first one arrived with an error, but customer service was honestly really great in helping me troubleshoot and then getting the scooter replaced.
This is a great scooter, a little on the heavy side to keep in mind if you have lifting restrictions, but the battery life is great and I couldn’t recommend this scooter more!
