Great bike. Great Bike, awesome color! Sturdy and easy to put together!
Good bike. Great bike , rides smooth, I added a bigger spring loaded seat to it . Takes a bit of adjusting cables to get brakes and shifting to perfect . I've owned quite a few bikes in the past that were absolutely uncomfortable to ride and they always ended up as garage wall decor . I'm not seeing that with this one. It's pretty light I've only ridden it a few miles but I like it . As for the pedals falling off in the other reviews , the pedal arms are aluminum along with the pedal studs look to be also . I would not overtighten them. I can see it would be very easy to overtighten them and strip the threads right off . All in all I think it's pretty good quality besides the aluminum pedal thing .
9/10 - Used Like New. NOTE: The bike I bought was used so my review may vary on certain things. The price for the used bike was only $160. During the height of the COVID-19, bikes were sold out EVERYWHERE! Bikes that were retailed at $250, were now going for $700! The high demand for any outdoor activities increased so high that the prices for those market became unaffordable to many. Seeing this bike at such a low price, and it was listed as “Used - Like New”, I immediately jumped on the opportunity.Straight out the box, it wasn’t much of a hassle to put together. Being that it was used, I had a damaged headset bearing and a missing quick release skewer. The parts weren’t expensive to replace and costed just under $30 to fix at a local bike shop, brining the price to own at $190 so far.Once the bike was assembled as intended, I was able to judge the bike for what it really worth. First thing you’ll notice is that the bike is pretty heavy. It’s not the biggest problem but you adjust to it pretty quickly. Once you start riding, you tend to feel that most gears feel the same, but still provide enough range to get around without a problem. The shifting in the front is a bit clunky, and you have to find the right sweet spot to stay on the gear correctly, but the back is pretty smooth and responsive. The braking is pretty standard, but does the job effectively. After riding around for more than 30 minutes, you most definitely start to feel how uncomfortable the seats are. If you plan on making any upgrades, THIS SHOULD BE THE FIRST!!Speaking about upgrading, I changed the twist to shift to trigger shifter with a brake combo. Twisting to shift makes shifting easy while having your hands still on the bar, but my hands would constantly rub causing minor burns which got uncomfortable on longer rides. Switching to trigger shifters also freed up some space on my handle bars which allowed my to switch to custom handle grips as well. The stock grips did a pretty job a it was, but aftermarket ones are as cheap as $5-$15 which can improve ride comfort on a budget. All in all, I spent close to $250 on a used bike, with upgraded trigger shifter and brake combo, upgraded handle bar grip, and a comfortable seat. Rides pretty smooth, and I enjoy it. Other than the seat, thinking of cons took a bit of time because they don’t affect you much. It’s something you can definitely live with, without having to get upgrades.Pros:Good for beginnersEasy assemblySmooth rear shiftsBraking works goodCons:Bike seatHeavy/BulkyFront shifts clunkyMost of the gears feel the sameLimited upgrades
Bought an pay as a new bicycle and is used. I assembled the bicycle yesterday during the night and finished at 12:05 am of today, Monday 09/18/23. I did not used yet.I bought and pay for the bicycle as new, but this is a used bicycle, I understand if for some reason could be a small scratches during the shipping (which also is not normal, but understandable) but in this case the scratches are too big. Also there are a marks on the wheels when someone else used the breaks. Both tires also had dust.Definitely a used bike. I payed for something new and this bicycle clearly is not new. I would like to have a discount or something. This is not normal.I will use the bicycle for first time in a few hours to see if at least can be used without mechanical issues. Someone else returned this bicycle -I don't have any doubts- and then Amazon sent that to me, the question is why.***UPDATE***In the same way that I had the time to write the previous review, I would like to inform that Amazon after seeing my complain and evidence they gave me a discount for the bicycle, THANKS AMAZON for your amazing support and quick response. Also as I said in my first comment finally I got the time to use the bicycle and I strongly recommend it, ride is comfortable and also is too light and really fast, the 27.5 inches tires help a lot to ride smoothly, also has a very good suspension. This is my second Schwinn mountain bicycle, I also had the first one and works fine even when is 15 years old bicycle. I also have a road bike from different manufacturing. I am a 46 YO and started using bicycles when I was 5 or 6 years old. Since then I used a lot of different bikes. I strongly recommend Schwinn, there are another companies offering expensive products but at the end they are very similar. One friend and I did a comparative between his expensive bicycle and mine and at the end he prefers mine because was faster and less expensive.I will update my comment as soon as see any news with my purchase.I hope this information helps. And thanks again to Amazon support.Jesus.
La cámara tiene un hoyo... me causara mas gastos
I like the fact that the bike fits for a 5'9 tall guy like me. My wife is 5'5 and she needs to adjust the seat lower. Assembly was good, but had to adjust the brakes and the gear for it wasn't changing.
Good
Always sceptical about buying a bike online without physically seeing it beforehand. This is very good quality, super easy to assemble just don’t expect it to turn up on time. The courier company this company uses is not reliable but that’s my only peeve. Bike itself deserved the 5 star review.

Indestructible. This bike is great. I bought this thinking it would last the summer, and here I am still hauling my now 6 year old in a trailer behind it 3 years later. Sure, some of the gears are slipping a bit now, brakes don't work. But for the price you get a very solid platform. I plan to put an electric motor on this thing and drive it to my grandkids graduation one day!
Perfect trail cruiser with a few upgrades. The media could not be loaded. I’m a bigger guy (6’ 240lbs) and this bike has been great so far. I was worried it would fall apart after a few runs but it has held up great for well over 2 dozen rides. It took a bit to get the gears shifting properly but i have them dialed in now with no hesitation or skipping EVER which surprised me. 3 things I would recommend: First I bought a nice wide, soft seat which makes a huge difference as the stock one is like sitting on a skinny rock. Second I bought wider, longer hand grips. My hands were hanging off sides of the ones that came stock. Lastly, and what helped me enjoy this bike the most was upgraded metal spiked pedals. The stock ones are plastic and my feet were sliding off them constantly especially on wet days. Probably spent a total of 75 bucks on all the upgrades and it was well worth it. I’m not jumping off any cliffs or anything just cruising through the bumpy woods and this bike has been perfect for that.
Not a good purchase. Bought this for my 10 yo for Christmas. Bike took some time to assemble but came together pretty easily. Issues:The wheels are not straight and contact the brake pads sporadically while riding, making a scrubbing sound. I made significant adjustments to the brake pad spacing but could not easily dial it in to the spacing referenced in the manual - needed wider spacing to avoid contacting the tire. The derailleurs were not indexed properly. I followed the instructions step by step to set the low and high limits, then adjusted the thumbscrews to adjust the indexing. I spent 4 hours (not exaggerating) adjusting and could not get the shifting to work properly - it skipped gears, and the bike would often shift gears on its own while pedaling. Front derailleur was trash, could never get it to shift into the smallest gear. The shifters were “tight” especially for the front gearing, my son couldn’t even shift it to the smallest gear because it was so tight.Ultimately I decided to return it, too much wasted time trying to make it functional. Don’t waste your time on this bike, it’s trash just like many of the other reviewers said. I wish I’d listened to them, but I was attracted to the positive reviews and the price seemed reasonable. At the very least, don’t trash the box after buying it, because you can’t return it without the box. I had to buy a $20 bike box just to return it after trashing the original box (which was damaged on the bottom). Fortunately Amazon covered the cost of the bike box and made this return process pretty easy.
Nice bike for the price. It came mostly assembled except for the handlebars, seat, peddles, and front tire. I'm 6' and it didn't feel like I was able to get good extension with my legs without raising the seat a lot. Adding a layback seat post helped provide a couple more inches of leg room. The noodle on the front brake broke when making initial adjustments and needed to be replaced. Overall it seems like a good bike in this price range. I'll provide any updates if needed once I get a few miles on it, after it cools down and the temps are no longer getting into the 100's.
Love this bike so much. comfort is key when it comes to riding. The seat on this Huffy bike adjustable and well padded. I took it for a spin around the neighborhood, and I must say, it provided a comfortable ride. The handlebar grips are also soft and easy to hold, making longer rides more enjoyable.”
good bike. bike rides smooth, looks nice too, pretty happy with it
Mediocre quality. The frame of the bike is good and my son is enjoying it. The bike is not the highest quality though, and I expect it will not last more than a year with as often as my son uses it. The front wheel was slightly bent out of the box, which made adjusting the front brakes a real joy. Most annoying is that the handlebar/steering arm will not stay in place, no matter what. Every time my son drops the bike with even mild firmness, the handlebar gets misaligned. The manual says to be careful about overtightening, and I heeded that advice initially. Unfortunately, I have found that even cranked down at max strength, the handlebars still won't reliably stay in alignment. I have concluded it's the result of a poor fit and cheap fasteners. Same issue with the seat. Oh and the clearances on the kickstand are so tight thst my son has trouble raising and lowering it. I plan to fix that with a Dremel. Next time I'll spend the extra money on something with a little better build quality.
My son loves it. It is very nice and steady. All kids in my neighborhood like it.
Es una bicicleta ligera y a la vez de construcción robusta.Es ágil en su manejo y los componentes son de buena calidad.
Purchased a new bike for my grandson. Received April 9th - Assembled (Gift for Easter) Given to him April 17th - Bike is not usable. When riding over rough ground, seat pops up for no reason-unable to just adjust- has to be removed and corrected with wrench. Tried 3 chats to have this seat replaced and was offered a $20 discount and I can go out buy a replacement seat. WOW, where is warranty, where is customer service - asking me to disassemble this bike - rebox it and return it for a refund vs just replacing the defective part. This is not acceptable when making purchase of a new product.
Took about 30 mins to assemble. I did have to adjust the detailed screws a bit to get all gears to work but it was pretty easy to do. Overall my kid loves it. It’s quite light vs my other sons CCM bike of the same size.
Excelente bicicleta para niñas.
The media could not be loaded. I have bought it a month ago. And today when I ride on the road, the handle is easily move which makes me fall on the ground. Luckily, I did not in dangerous , just bleeding a bit, but if people ride it in some bad environment or near a car. I can not believe what will happen

MARCH 30, 2021 UPDATE, 2ND PURCHASE. The order stated 3 day shipping and it took 6 days, but more importantly FedEx delivered the box all tore up with bottom flaps wide open and the box of pedals lying on the ground outside of the main carton. The bike suffered several deep scratches that really bummed me out! I decided to live with it as I hate to send things back unless I have to. Other than that the bike is very nice at this price point and would have received 5 stars from me if it wasn't damaged, despite the slow arrival. It went together very easily, but did need rerouting of the cables which could not be completely untangled as well as some minor tuning. I also replaced the skinny rock hard seat with a super comfortable TONBUX seat that almost matches the color perfectly (best $20 I ever spent!). It rides like a dream on the rough dirt and rocky mountain roads near my house, the full suspension and big 29" tires really soak in the bumps, very smooth. I am very pleased with the overall performance of the bike so far, it shifts very quickly up and down and the disk brakes are strong. I am 5'9" tall / 185 lbs. and the bike has plenty of seat adjustment left, I would say it will handle up to a 6'2" rider, but not much shorter than 5'8" comfortably. I would highly recommend this bike to anyone that is NOT interested in hard core wide open down hill mountain trail riding. I am sure the bike can handle any trail at controlled speeds, but sustained high speed down hill mountain trail riding needs more bike than this, i.e. hydraulic brakes & better suspension, or in other words spending at least double or triple what this bike cost. At under $400 dollars it is a great bike.UPDATE: After several long rides on very rocky mountain roads and trails I just had to change my rating from 4 to 5 stars. This bike is that nice, and it didn't seem fair to down grade the rating due to slow poor FedEx service.18 MONTH FOLLOW-UP:Loving this well made Schwinn! Have many miles of very hard riding on it now and it is holding up well. Zero issues and still functioning perfectly. There is a slight amount of seepage at the front forks but that is normal. I have just about worn out the tires but that is after a lot of miles, most of which were ridden on rough rocky roads with zero flats. Overall this bike is a winner. Well worth the current price.MARCH 30, 2021 UPDATE:Just purchased a 2nd Traxion for my wife; after she borrowed mine she had to have one. This one arrived in perfect condition via UPS. Had to fine tune the brakes and shifters but that is easy. The people here having pedal/crank problems are causing the problem themselves by installing them dry and severly over tightening them. Put a little grease on the threads and take them down to just beyond finger tight. They are threaded opposite of the crank rotation and will not back out, and if you ever need to replace them they'll come out easily without seizing or galling. Great bike for the money!
Handled my volcanic national park like a champ. This is a great bike and comes a lot more assembled then I was expecting, I wish the front shock was adjustable but that’s my only plight. Shipping took a while but corona screwed up a lot more then shipping times for everyone so life happens, when it finally showed up I assembled it in about an hour making sure to check break and gear lines that were already adjusted almost perfectly then toor through a Northern California mountain trail, it’s perfectly responsive and the shock system is super good to my deteriorating knees for everything that I put it threw. It cruises so smooth and effortlessly on pavement and it’s large tires handle large rocks and other sketchy obstacles with ease. I was not nice to this on my first couple rides cause I needed to know if it can handle more serious trails in my area without throwing me off a cliff which happens to people a lot more often in my area then It should but that’s the risk of a lot of out door rec in a volcanic park. To some up this is the best bike I have ever owned and could easily go for more, for my time my money and my riding experience I would 100% recommend this awesome bike. The seat is awesome for a man and my boyfriend uses and enjoys it on his mountain bike but I have a female pelvis and it just doesn’t fit my body, no big deal I have a nice bike seat that’s transferred to the original seat most seamlessly
Decent for an entry level bike, don't expect it to be mid to high-end. I got this to replace a $100 super store special, and for the most part, it's been pretty good. Assembly wasn't difficult and took about 30 minutes. Bike was adjusted and ready to ride out of the box. While it has suspension components, it's a very basic suspension. The front forks are pretty soft and not adjustable. The rear suspension, while adjustable, doesn't really change the feel . I'm 5'9" and I feel the frame is a bit large for me. Tires feel like they lack some grip in the turns on soft surfaces, but I'm still dialing in my air pressure. The brakes do their job. The gears give a good spread of options. The front derailleur isn't the smoothest, but works.I've put about 50 miles on it doing a mix of dirt trail riding, small rock trails, small jumps and street/neighborhood riding and it's handled all of those environments well. I wouldn't attempt to use it on any very technical or steep segments as it's not built for those types of trails. My only real complaint is that there was a frequent clunk sound from the rear wheel/gear cassette area. Support was not very helpful and even with sending them video of the issue, they said I was improperly using the bike (letting it freewheel when not pedaling). They also kept blaming other components (derailleur, chain, petals), even when I showed them where the issue was. Once I got transferred over to a supervisor, they immediately sent out some new rear wheel parts and that took care of the issue. In short, don't expect it to be a high end bike, and it's not a $100 big box deal. It's decent if you're looking to upgrade from a beginner bike to something a bit more capable, without spending lots of money.
The bike arrived very fast and only a little assembly to do and very easy. The gears change very smoothly. It's a little heavy but I'm very satisfied !!!
maybe a bit expensive but good simple bike. I ordered 2 and for one of them the front wheel was really untrue, I had to replace it (Amazon was amazing with this).unlike other bikes I purchased, I did not have to make any tuning/adjustments for the deralleurs - hope this won't jinx it.note: no water bottle holes.
Bike arrived yesterday, so I put it together last night, and attempted to ride it. The gears don't change properly, and the chain constantly runs on the chain guard. Tries to adjust the gears, but to no avail. I got it close but either the chain runs while pedalling l, or the gears don't move to the next sprocket when the trigger is pulled... I'm going to try again tonight after work, bit I'd like to talk to the seller a out this issue.... a brand new bike out of the box should change gears.... I think. On the plus side, it's a really nice looking bike... very frustrated with it though....I sent this bike back, the customer service from both amazon and schwinn, were impeccable, so much so, that I'm going to order another one, and hope it's not defective. My fingers are crossed, and I'll post again when the next one comes.
Had bike for just over a month and gears don’t work proper and back wheel frame is bent and has a wobble. Thought getting a more expensive bike would be more durable but I was wrong. My 200 dollar Canadian Tire bike was better.
The tires are missing some ball bearing and trying to put the tire on only results in a wobbly tire. Off to buy some ball bearings now... Grumble.
