This is the first electric scooter bought for my 8-year-old kid. She was so excited to try out and bought this as a surprise gift. There was almost no Juice in the battery when I got the package.
Installation: The installation was super easy and came with all the accessories and the manual.
Usage: If you’re a first-time user like my kid, the scooter wouldn’t start until you accelerate it 3+MPH. Which means, the kids need to manually kick off the scooter like a regular manual scooter and then press the accelerate green button. This is the only way your scooter would start the motor.
Duration: We’ve tried going uphill and downhill and this scooter worked great and met the expectations. It goes about 8-10MPH max speed and from the first-time recharge, the scooter ran about 5-6 miles of range only.
Pros:
1. Great Price and good beginner scooter
2. Right size if you’re kid is not too tall.
3. Good speed range
Cons:
1. Need to keep your fingers all the time for acceleration. Over the days of use, it could be painful for the kids.
2. Lot of loud noise (watch the video)
3. Looks like my scooter is defective as the second charge lasted only couple of miles and no more juice left.
Overall, this is a great beginner scooter for kids. However, if your kid is already used to manual scooter you could easily get a medium size scooter which is height adjustable and upgrade to like E100/E300 which seems much better for kids with low quiet noise and higher speeds.

My son is 6 and loves it. It goes pretty fast with him on it. It pulls me around with no problem and I’m 120lbs. You have to assist it to get going and once it’s going just hold the button and it will stay at top speed. For the price it’s a win. Battery seems good as well after a lot of charges.

We bought this scooter in Nov 2021 and it still running strong. The battery just now went out for the first time but I will purchase another battery and hopefully it will last another 3 years or longer…. Teach your kids all the rules in ridding this and it will last. Don’t hop off curbs or throw down ect

This Razor Power Core E90 Glow scooter was the biggest hit of Christmas gifts for our 9 year old. He asked for “an electric scooter” all summer and always ended his plea with “but I know they’re too expensive”. So we were amazed to find this one at a price which was affordable for us.
He already had a normal kick scooter by Razor and uses it every day to go the last 1/2 mile to elementary school. This E90 was his first-ever motor vehicle. And the look on his face the first time the little motor kicked in was priceless!
It was easy to put together. All that was needed was putting the steering part into the body and tightening 4 bolts. Razor included the Allen wrench too.
Reading other reviews we realized some folks weren’t reading the instructions to charge toe battery 24 hours before the first ride. We decided to read and follow the instructions in the manual, because we want to maximize the life of the battery. Glad we did. We do get 60 minutes of riding on one charge, as it says we would.
The little red “glow” LEDs on the bottom aren’t really visible in daylight and he doesn’t use it after dark much, but kiddo likes the “glow” anyway. He learned to ride quickly, and we can see that the brake is effective without being so strong that the wheel would lock up. It’s very good. Also, because this scooter goes up to 10 mph, we are glad the floorboard is big and is highly textured for non-slip scooting.
All in all another winner from Razor. We trust this scooter maker and had good long term experience with the kick scooter before this. Highly recommended for fun.
